Connectivity update
Joint statement validated by Ingénie and elloha (18/10/2019)
1- Ingénie connectivity to elloha
This connectivity is operational and, thanks to the work of the two companies, it is now in production in destinations such as Tarn & Garonne, Sarlat and Hendaye.
However, this connectivity has a few constraints to consider:
- the Ingénie solution allows its customers to customise a certain number of criteria and data, which can therefore vary from one customer to another. This means that, in anticipation of setting up Ingénie connectivity to elloha, the elloha teams will first of all have to measure the gap between the 'normal' data structure as constituted in the Ingénie API and any customisations made by the Ingénie user centre. In simple terms, we can therefore say that 80% of connectivity is "standard" and operational and that, depending on the customisations made by the Ingénie customer, each new production release will require 20% adaptation and mapping before being put online by elloha. Where applicable, if the differences are significant, elloha reserves the right to issue a quotation for these mapping operations either to the centre concerned or to the network head (elloha) that wishes to connect it to its platform.
- connectivity does not, in its current state, make it possible to manage the flow of activities (see below) and ticketing created in the Ingénie centres. In other words, Ingénie connectivity to elloha only concerns the synchronisation of accommodation flows.
- with regard to activities and ticketing
The flow created and supplied by Ingénie does not, to date, include any data other than that specific to accommodation.
Ingénie has not yet scheduled the integration of this data into its flow, given the importance of this technical project.
As the data structure for activities differs considerably from that for accommodation, elloha will study the conditions for integrating this data flow (activities, including time-stamped activities, and ticketing) when it is made available (sine die) by Ingénie. elloha reserves the right to charge additional fees (fixed or on a case-by-case basis) once it has been made aware of the flow and its documentation.
2 - elloha connectivity to Ingénie
It is possible to set up an "OT XXXX" channel in elloha accounts located in your territorial zone so that elloha accounts that so wish can be distributed via the Ingénie central office of a DMO.
In the same way as a real-time OTA synchro with Booking, Airbnb, VRBO/Abritel or Google (HOT and CH, holiday rentals, etc.), the elloha account (from the Connect subscription) can activate this channel from the channels proposed in its channel manager:
When the channel is activated, a webhook informs the TO and Ingénie that a new Accommodation or Activity has joined the Central.
Ingénie can then query the availability of the various lots and create files via the elloha APIs. These files are sent to the elloha accounts concerned so that a call for funds can then be sent to the pros if the TO is commissioned.
The advantage of this option is the minimal cost to the Tourism Office, which comes down to a setup fee of €900 excluding VAT for setting up the channel, API access and associated webhooks and a very economical annual distribution licence, the cost of which varies according to the number of elloha accounts connected, but remains zero below the 100 elloha accounts connected mark.
On the other hand, without a Network Head licence paid for by the Tourism Office, the elloha subscription rates remain those offered on the elloha website.
These gateways have already been deployed for Tours and Les 2 Alpes. They can therefore market elloha accounts that have activated their channel via their Ingénie booking centre.
